It started with a camera. Some fifty years ago. Academy of Visual Arts. The Hague, The Netherlands. Studying Design and Photography. Pictures, analogue, black and white. Inspired by surrealism and cubism. Dali, Magritte, Picasso and Gris. The cinema of Bunuel and Polanski.
I always needed to express inner feelings, thoughts and dreams. To visualize their complexity. From scratch to concept. From photograph to collage. As a photographer? No, more as a painter. Painting with pixels. Creating a world. Particularly surreal, abandoned and forgotten.
